What is a 3T MRI?
A 3T MRI refers to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine with a magnetic field strength of 3 Tesla (3T). The Tesla unit is used to measure the strength of the magnetic field generated by an MRI machine. Higher magnetic field strength, such as 3T, will offer improved image quality and details in a shorter period of time.
It is commonly used for various diagnostic purposes, including brain and spinal cord pathologies, orthopedic injuries, and acute injury cases.
